Your Counselor
About Me
I am a wife, mother, and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) with over 20 years of experience in the field of mental health. I’m licensed in the state of Maryland and have worked in private practice, community mental health, and K–12 school settings. While I’ve had the privilege of working with children, adolescents, and adults, I currently focus on working with adults and couples.
My approach to therapy is client-centered, strength-based, and deeply empathetic. I strive to create a safe, non-judgmental space where clients feel seen, heard, and supported—especially in today’s age of disconnection and isolation. With a love for water metaphors, I aim to be a beacon of hope in the ocean of life.
I specialize in helping individuals navigate:
Grief and loss
Trauma
Anxiety and depression
Self-esteem issues
Relationship challenges—with self, family, partners, and with God
Whether you're seeking healing, clarity, or meaningful change, I’m here to walk alongside you on that journey.
Therapeutic Approach
My counseling style is collaborative and flexible. I draw from several evidence-based modalities, including:
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT)
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
Trauma-Informed Therapy
Each client is unique, and I tailor my approach to meet your specific needs and goals.
